How it works

Support to suit your people

We provide the essential expert support in areas such as maintaining boundaries, developing and retaining confidence, de-briefing, and managing their own wellbeing, especially in relation to traumatic or difficult incidents. Discover more about the types of support we offer below.

  • Individual sessions

The scheduled sessions with our therapists allow your Mental Health First Aider to reflect and explore the impact of their role on them as an individual.

  • Group sessions

The scheduled groups sessions with our therapists provide your Mental Health First Aiders with the opportunity to share and learn from others in a structured and supported way.

  • Trauma support

These ad-hoc sessions, arranged within 5 days of the request, allow Mental Health First Aiders to debrief after traumatic or difficult incidents in a structured manner. They can be arranged for individuals or groups.

It was useful to get together with other MHFA’s who I may not know or interact with daily. We were able to share useful hints, tips and offer support to one another.
