Rightsteps' Menopause Toolkit for Employers
Since 2009, the International Menopause Society and the World Health Organization have called October "World Menopause Awareness Month," and October 18 is known as "World Menopause Day."
This an is an ideal time to launch, refresh, or elevate your menopause initiative.
Menopause is not a problem that only affects women. It may be hard to talk about, but everyone needs to know about it so they can either learn more about it for themselves or help their co-workers, friends, and family members.

What is the menopause toolkit?
Almost two-thirds of women who went through the menopause found it hard to concentrate at work.
Menopause is a normal part of life, but it's not always easy to talk about. Rightsteps and Dr. Myra Hunter, a clinical health psychologist, have worked together to make a free toolkit with ideas for how you can help your employees.
Our menopause toolkit aims to:
Train and educate staff and managers about menopause.
Empower women to talk about menopause in the workplace
Explore Cognitive Behavioural Therapy support
In recognition of World Menopause Day, we also want you to share the work you are doing within your organisation to create an inclusive workplace throughout the year.
Note: We say "women" in this, but we recognise that cisgender women, transgender men, and non-binary people experience menopause too.
