Much More Than A Counselling Service!
Rightsteps Wellbeing is a proactive solution which strikes a balance between the needs of the employer and the employee. It begins from the principle that no two employees will need the same approach in making lifestyle changes and developing coping strategies which facilitate their return to work.
As part of their engagement in Rightsteps, employees also receive unlimited access to Rightsteps Anytime. Complimenting the sessions with their allocated wellbeing practitioner, our online platform and associated app includes a range of modules and treatment options which are worked through by the employee during their period of support. This approach to enhanced treatment provides employees personal, customised care as and when they need it. Rightsteps Anytime gives individuals online access to their support from any location at any time when they need it most.
The techniques used are widely accepted to deliver real results with a number of studies having been carried out to support its efficacy. Among affected employees, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has been shown to significantly improve productivity (+6%) and reduce absence (+11 days per person over two years) (Rost et al., 2004)
How does it work
Rightsteps Wellbeing is delivered by BACP / BABCP accredited practitioners skilled in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The programme uses CBT to identify and change negative patterns of behaviour, making significant change a long-term possibility whilst focusing on business productivity and employee health. The 3 stage process is simple:
1. An initial telephone assessment
This helps our team of Wellbeing Practitioners understand the needs of the individual.
2. Six further one hour telephone
interventions are provided
Tailored to meet the needs of the individual, these sessions allow a range of CBT methods to be utilised, challenging behaviours and unhelpful thought patterns, getting to the root of the individual's problems.
3. Complete guided self-help
Individuals receiving our support are encouraged to complete guided self-help interventions between sessions. Our support includes unlimited access to "Rightsteps Anytime" which is an online platform and mobile app providing access to personal customised care. Rightsteps Anytime can be accessed anywhere, anytime; giving individuals more access to support options as and when they need it most.
